First time here and they ended up having a promotion for $5 small bowls! Makalah welcomed us in and explained the menu system, as well as let us try the base flavors first! Love that the add-on are unlimited. The bases aren’t super sweet and you can completely customize to your taste. I think I’ll take this over playa bowls!

My favorite smoothie bowl place!! Love that it is organic ingredients and whole foods. Customer service was great. So many options and it is a good amount of food.

I attempted to order online take-out however the portal the business preferred was not conducive albeit it could have been user error lol. I called the business as I was a first time customer and Alexis was tremendously helpful taking my order over the phone. Noting one of my bowls had an allergy alert - Alexis reminded me of an ingredient that the bowl didn’t need. Excellent customer service and our bowls were delicious!! My new spot for Acai bowls!

Found this place last minute as we were in a class at Durham Tech (about a 8-10 min walk). Loved the açaí bowl and the unlimited toppings. However the fruit was a very limited portion compared to other açaí places I visit normally, such as purple spoon. The restroom needs attention but otherwise the seating area was clean
